Sai Abhyankkar

Sai Abhyankar is a rising star in the Indian music industry as a singer, composer and programmer. Born on February 14, 2003 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, he comes from an accomplished musical family - his parents Tippu and Harini are renowned playback singers across multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. Music was a part of Sai's upbringing from an early age, as he was encouraged by his parents to pursue singing, composing and learning instruments like keyboard, guitar and drums. He displayed talent in academics as well, excelling in school at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan. Alongside music, Sai developed an interest in coding and programming, participating in competitions and hackathons. In 2019, at just 16 years old, Sai made his playback singing debut in the Tamil film Thirumanam, lending his vocals to the "Thirumanam Theme" song composed by Siddharth Vipin. He also sang a duet with his mother Harini for the same film. However, Sai's major breakthrough came in 2020 with the release of his debut independent single "Katchi Sera," a Tamil-English fusion song he wrote and composed himself. The song's catchy tune and vibrant video made it a viral sensation, amassing over 2.3 million views on YouTube and earning him praise as a promising new talent. Beyond singing and composing, Sai has also explored sound engineering and music production. He worked as an additional programmer on the teaser and trailer for the upcoming Tamil film Pathuthala, collaborating with composer Anirudh Ravichander. He continues creating innovative original music by teaming up with other musicians and programmers. Currently pursuing a computer science degree at IIT Madras, the multi-talented Sai Abhyankar is making waves as a triple threat - blending his musical roots with coding prowess to carve a unique career path in India's entertainment industry.
