"Treasure" is a song by American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars for his second studio album, titled Unorthodox Jukebox (2012). "Treasure" was written by Mars himself along with Philip Lawrence, Ari Levine, and Phredley Brown, while production was handled by Mars, Lawrence and Levine under the name of The Smeezingtons. Due to the similarities shared with Breakbot's "Baby I'm Yours," new writing credits were added. The song was selected as the third single by Atlantic Records and was released to mainstream radio in Italy on May 10, 2013. The single became Mars' seventh top ten hit in the United States since his career as an artist began in 2010. It has also reached the top-ten in countries like Australia, Canada, France, Israel, and New Zealand. It reached the top of the charts in Libya, Mexico, and South Africa. "Treasure" received media attention for its funk and disco vibe, which a few artists have brought back, comparing it to Michael Jackson's music. The single was certified four-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), as the certifications for digital singles include on-demand audio and/or video song streams in addition to downloads and two times platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) and Music Canada (MC). The accompanying music video for the song was shot by Cameron Duddy and Bruno Mars in Las Vegas, Hollywood and premiered on June 14, 2013.
