Crush, whose real name is Shin Hyo-seob, is a popular South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. He is signed to the label P NATION and first gained recognition as one-half of the duo Masterpiece. Crush officially debuted as a solo artist on April 1, 2014 with the single "Sometimes." Prior to his official debut, he had already released two singles "Red Dress" and "Crush On You" to build anticipation. In addition to his solo work, Crush is a member of the hip hop project group FANXY CHILD. As a talented songwriter and producer, he has written and produced songs for himself as well as other K-pop acts. Crush had to put his music career on hold briefly to complete his mandatory military service in South Korea. He enlisted on November 12, 2020 and was discharged on August 11, 2022 after serving for nearly two years. On the personal front, it was confirmed in August 2021 that Crush has been dating K-pop idol Joy from the girl group Red Velvet. Both of their agencies publicly acknowledged their relationship. With his unique musical style blending R&B, hip hop, and pop, Crush has established himself as one of the top soloists in the Korean music industry over the last decade. His fans eagerly await his continued musical output and evolution as an artist.
